PAKISTAN’S ISI AND ITS FORCES HAVE FULL RIGHT TO INTERVENE AND PROTECT INNOCENT KASHMIRIS IN IDA:

PAKISTAN’S ISI AND ITS FORCES HAVE FULL RIGHT
TO INTERVENE AND PROTECT INNOCENT KASHMIRIS IN IDA:
JK: HABIB YOUSAFZAI, WORLD KASHMIR DIASPORA ALLIANCE

At the time of partition of India, Junagadh and Hyderabad had a Hindu majority population and were permitted to choose India against the instructions of their ruler (Nawab). Why cannot the Muslims of Internationally Disputed Area of Jammu and Kashmir (IDA: JK) who consist of 87% of the majority do not have the same right to vote for their future against the directives of their ruler (Maharaja)?

The use of force has always played a key role in the world nation’s history. For instance, on September 15, 1947, Nawab Mohammad Mahabat Khanji of Junagadh, a princely state, chose to accede to Pakistan, but was militarily occupied by India on November 9, 1947. In reference to Hyderabad, Indian Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel approached the Hyderabad Government with a request to sign the instrument of accession, Nizam refused. Alarmed at the refusal by Hyderabad in the heart of the Indian Territory, Sardar Patel approached the governor general of India Lord Mountbatten who advised him to resolve the issue without the use of force. Accordingly, the Indian government signed a ‘Standstill Agreement’ with the Hyderabad government. But soon after, it violated all agreements signed with the Hyderabad government and occupied Hyderabad militarily.

Kashmiris are waiting for more than six decades for India to implement the UN resolution of 1948. Instead of solving the Kashmir problem; India is continuously busy in cementing its forcible and fraudulent occupation over Internationally Disputed Areas of Jammu and Kashmir (IDA: JK). It has already killed more than two hundred thousand innocent Kashmiris as determined through figures maintained by the UN and other human rights organizations in order to suppress their voice for freedom.

Last but not least, when India can capture Junagadh and Hyderabad by force with a plea that both states have a Hindu majority and continue to use its more than seven hundred thousand troops against the wishes of the Kashmiris  in IDA: JK and is not showing any sign of bringing the occupation to an end. Based on the same analogy, Pakistan’s ISI and its forces have the same right to intervene and to protect innocent Kashmiris from the Indian prison and work until the illegal occupation has been eliminated in IDA: JK.
